I have a degree in Marine Biology from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), Brazil
(2014). My research had focused on natural and anthropogenic impacts on corals that have
great ecological importance to the tropical rocky shore (Siderastrea stellata and Phillogorgia
dilatata
). At the moment, I’m keeping this line of research as a Msc student in the Program
in Marine Biotechnology (UFF/IEAPM). I intend to continue my work in the field of ecology and
conservation of coral, now focused on the comprehensive monitoring of the population of
hydrocoral Millepora alcicornis in Arraial do Cabo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
